Dorfladen plus in Golzow is the centerpiece of a co-produced village renewal process. The initiative brings together people
from different backgrounds around a shared mission. It develops and adapts around the topic of secure provision of healthy and regional food to a local community in the Oderbruch area.

Rapid planetary urbanization, requires that we address spatial injustices through a lens that acknowledges urban and rural areas as relational components of one societal fabric. Dorfladen plus offers a best practice example, how socio-ecological transformations reframe planning practices sustainably through co-production.

A formerly abandoned locality was reactivated and now serves as a hub for participatory actions around the topic of food. During weekly markets food can be purchased, and through partnerships with the local elementary school and regional cultural institutions, the working group has turned the shop into a space for social and educational activities.
